Paul J. Ghattas, D.O. - Dallas, Frisco, TXDr. Paul J. Ghattas is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic, reconstructive, and replacement surgery of the shoulder and elbow. Dr. Ghattas serves as the director of shoulder and elbow surgery at SPORT.

A Texas native, Dr. Ghattas completed his bachelor of science in biomedical science at Texas A&M University before attending medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He completed his internship in general surgery at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX, then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Lincoln Memorial University and Wellmont Health Systems in Tennessee. Dr. Ghattas also completed specialty rotations at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the Hughston Clinic and Tampa General Hospital. After his residency, he completed a fellowship at the W.B. Carrell Clinic for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery in Dallas.

Dr. Ghattas has served as adjunct team physician for multiple high schools and universities. In addition, he has given lectures at national conferences and had several articles published. Outside of work, Dr. Ghattas enjoys visiting family in Houston, Texas A&M Football and playing basketball. Dr. Ghattas dedicates time annually to medical mission work in Central and South America.
